As part of the Vitec Software Group—a prominent Nordic provider of vertical market software - headquartered in Bergen, Norway. Our team comprises +40 professionals across software development, sales, marketing, customer support, finance, and HR, and a development partner in Eastern Europe.

Since we are a decentralized group, the CEO is responsible for both P&L and business and operational issues and at the same time you get access to experience and networks within the Vitec Software Group.

The tasks of the CEO at Vitec Fixit Systemer AS will be: 

Strategic Leadership: Define the company’s strategic plan while aligning with the short-term and long-term objectives. Execute the strategy promptly while maintaining flexibility and agility to adapt to market changes, ensuring the company stays ahead in its competitive niche and strengthens its brand position.

Operations Management: Oversee the company's operational processes and ensure they are streamlined and efficient. Ensure product development projects and support services meet high standards and customer expectations. 

Financial Acumen: Manage the organization’s financial goals, including budgeting, investments, and resource allocation to ensure the company’s financial health and sustainability. In this role, you will have full P&L responsibility while also working closely with the Vitec Software Group network to leverage shared expertise and experience.

People Management: Lead and inspire a team of managers and staff while fostering a transparent and inclusive corporate culture. Enhance employee engagement and professional development opportunities. 

Client Relations: Maintain and expand customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Act as a primary spokesperson for the company with clients, stakeholders, and the broader public. 

Your Profile 

We are looking for a visionary CEO to lead the company into its next phase of growth. You are someone who can see future possibilities and turn them into strategic plans, working closely with the marketing team to build a strong brand presence. You have a proven track record in leadership, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across the organization. Your decisions are guided by sound judgment and a clear focus on delivering value-driven products to the market.

You thrive in dynamic environments, adapting quickly to new challenges and driving innovation. You communicate effectively, foster collaboration, and build long-term relationships both internally and externally. You support employee development and create a positive work culture.

With a solid understanding of financial principles and with commercial experience, you ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence. You are customer-oriented and work closely with sales and support teams to strengthen client relationships.

You hold a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and have several years of senior management experience—ideally in the software industry. Experience from the consumer service industry is an advantage. Fluency in Norwegian and English is required, and you are willing to travel for business. 

As CEO, you will represent the company and manage key stakeholder relationships, reporting directly to Vice President Operations, Pia Kantola.
